In the summer of 2024, we had the honor of working at Rising Light Ridge, a life-changing camp experience by the Tim Tebow Foundation. What we thought would be a simple summer job turned into one of the most eye-opening, emotional, and purpose-fueled seasons of our lives.
We were part of a team that served underprivileged children — many of whom came from heartbreaking home situations, some with disabilities, others carrying emotional trauma. And yet, each day, we saw something incredible:
Kids choosing joy.
Smiles born out of struggle.
Laughter in places where pain once lived.
We worked 12+ hour shifts, side-by-side, in the heat, on little sleep — but our hearts had never been so full.
🌍 What We Realized
That summer taught us something we’ll carry for the rest of our lives:
Positivity is more than a mindset — it’s a movement.
We saw how much darkness exists in the world.
We saw how deeply people are hurting — especially young people.
And we saw just how much light can be.
